Dec 28, Does Glycolic Acid Skin Care Work

Glycolic acid is known for its ability to reveal a smoother skin, increasing cell growth, and overall — promoting healthy skin.

Glycolic acid, in its concentrated form is used as a rust remover in industrial plants. It is risky for any person without the technical knowhow to try this.

It is extremely dangerous that I would say no to it. Dropping some on your hands will cause severe skin burns.

Ok how and why does the cosmetic industry use it for treatment and in the production of most cosmetic products for our consumption?

"The cosmetic industry use very diluted concentrate of glycolic peel for the production of Skin care products like the moisturizers, exfoliants, face peels, etc."

The glycolic acid in this products work by destroying the “glue” that binds the old skin cells to your face thus shedding the cells that lie underneath.

The result is a younger looking skin and a less wrinkled face. This gets the skin looking younger, enhances skin beauty and causes scares to become less noticeable.

This is a type of exfoliation mechanism that is adopted by many as it works perfectly on skins prone to pimples and/or acne. The acid is effective for reducing blocked pores by eliminating the dead cells and dry flaky skin.

This product and treatment technique is rated high by many; they call it the miracle cure because it has the ability to moisturize the skin unlike other treatments that fail to do so.

Such cosmetics companies have now decided to increase the chemical levels in their skin care products and in their treatment products too.

You are certain to get the younger looking skin, but soon you will notice how extremely sensitive your skin has become to sunlight thus burning very easily.

You definitely will need heavy moisturizers and some other sun care protection after treatment. Fruit acids are effective in treating the skin to a sparkling condition.

It has long been utilized in beauty treatments, for example; most people will use tomatoes for their skin care.

Tomatoes have long been used for several years for beauty treatment, and it hasn't failed many at least their good testimonies to how effective it has been in treating the skin.

It works in a similar fashion to glycolic skin treatment. Though it is gentler in its treatment unlike the former. The reason being that the acid content in glycolic products is more.

The question is how to use tomatoes in treating the skin; you can do this by putting slices of raw tomato on your face, leave it there for a while then watch how it loosens your surface skin cells.

For certain, using tomatoes to treat the skin is an excellent way of removing every form of pimples and blackheads therein on the skin. Click next to continue reading about glycolic acid skin care.
